R-Tech Services Ltd has recently taken receipt of a new Laroche LRBRBT  bend/rebend test machine for reinforcing steels. Specially designed for testing purposes, with controlled bending speeds, and a full range of bending mandrels, the machine is capable of bending all sizes of high yield bars up to 50mm, and mild steel bars up to 70mm and will enable R-Tech to perform all the standard bend/rebend tests including to BS, EN, ISO and ASTM standards. R-Tech’s UKAS accredited independent testing is used by product certification bodies to demonstrate compliance with standard specifications. They are also used for independent verification of performance on critical construction projects such as in the nuclear sector. The new Laroche machine will enable R-Tech to conduct bend and rebend tests on the full size range of bars on the UK market
