R-TECH Materials have successfully obtained UKAS accreditation for the following metallography tests:

• Depth of case hardening
• Decarburisation depth by both the microscopical and micro indentation methods
• Detecting detrimental intermetallic phases
• Average grain size using the intercept method
• Volume fraction by systematic manual point count
